Anyway,
Shipping prices are evil.

But it's all worth it for Weiss' glorious frown.
She's so cranky lol.

Ozpin doesn't have nightmares. The coffee mug consumes them for him.

Well, in a general sense, I can't muster a better answer than "everyone".
With this current arc, it's hard not to joke "tumblr"

I figured people with an interest in nice, lovely fluid animation, monsters, and cute anime girls. With a little weapon porn (No not that kind, you know what I mean) for good measure.
We get all of that...sometimes...You know when it's RWBY and not The Jaune Arc show co-starring team RWBY.

I like seeing more of team JNPR. Mainly because I like Ren and his weapons, but still JNPR is always nice to see.

Oh, I like Ren and Nora.
Be nice if we got more of them. Especially if it turned out Ren had a really good, dry sense of humor.
Too bad that's yet to happen.
Nora wearing the Boop shirt made me feel like I was watching a Sonic Zombie video because it feels like something Sonic, as a living commercial would do. But those are parodies of bad Gmod Machinima...

Yeah. I have no clue what Sonic Zombie is. We will see them in action soon. Probably when dust hits the fan.

Clones got the main draw of Rwby as a show and really "everyone" wouldn't be wrong. I can't speak for demographics since this is the internet but I would put an age range down to say, 12-20+. Young kids at the age to be drawn in for the cool elements (guns and monsters) but older teens/young adults for the prominent 'soft' fantastical elements.
Personally my analysis of everyone's gripes with Rwby's high school parts is RT balancing the expectations they have of the audience. I would expect the older crowd from the RT fanbase to be their primary audience since RT is still rather niche. At the same time they want to draw in the younger crowd for new blood to sustain their fanbase/audience in time to come. If I would draw examples of shows similar to Rwby in audience age-range, perhaps MLP and Adventure Time though i'm only basing the former off all the bronies lol. The nuances of the ice king and marceline arc in AT is undoubtably meant for the adult audience to appreciate.
So maybe this is really them struggling with a juggling act but eh this is the second big series they are pulling outside of RvB so I can't really fault them for trying new things and looking long term business-wise.

Don't compare this to Marceline and Ice Kings story.
Maybe that pointless stretch of time with Armless Finn...and Season 6 as a whole...
But not I Remember You and Simon and Marcy. Also those were 2 episodes, not a quarter and a third of the seasons.

What kid would like the school sections though? If they were trying to appeal to kids there would be more action than there is now.

In all seriousness, I'm sure they will get things back together soon. In any animated series , EVER, there is the arc and or episode that undoubtedly falls shorter than the rest. Sure, the expectations were not up to par, but that might just be a way to broaden the audience. Drawing more people into your series is any animators dream. You always have to try new things, and a show with a large audience such as RWBY has more than enough room to experiment with. If the majority didn't like it (myself included), they will receive the feedback and work toward a better future.

For all my moaning, I agree with this.
While my criticism is a little...extreme. It's with good intent. When RWBYs in its niche, it's a good show.
Episodes 1, 8-10, 15-16, Vol.2 1-4.
Were all good. They were well paced, well acted, good focus on good characters and a joy to watch.
11-14, and now Vol. 2 5-6 are the opposite. They aren't well paced, and focus on uninteresting cliches from every high school show under the sun. I used to watch alot of Degrassi when I was in Junior High, but I barely remember any of it. Because those shows aren't really worth remembering, with good reason.
Whereas people still revisit and love shows like Batman The Animated Series.
I give the writers credit for trying something else, but they're working outside their comfort zone, and it shows.
RWBY has shown it can be alot better. It just needs a well placed boot to the ass to get it in gear.
Besides, focusing on Romance and all that is the reason why people are attacking Monty on Twitter because "Representation". ![]()

Better than Dead Fantasy complaints tbh.
I still hold my stance that WeissxPyrrha is a more interesting pair than JaunexPyrrha. I don't give a flying flamingo if it's a gay couple, it's more interesting as two characters interacting in that setting. Way more comedy to pull out of it too.
