Actually, that's just the usual Gravyism there, it's actually written meaning that Oobleck brought the conflicts to the front of their minds, because those conflicts are what attracting the Grimm in the first place, and they need to resolve them.

 

Negative energies attract the Grimm, and those just happen to find our protagonists very tasty.

To be fair The Flash probably is the fastest mortal character in fiction.

But I could see Barry toning it down a bit for a race.

 

Superman too...and Goku no instant transmission or flying for him.

It was with her teammates that she saw combat.

 

I just realized, this happened in the Emerald Forest too. Yang attracted Ursa on her own, Blake was in the area, she could have been trying to shake them. Weiss was attracting those Beowolves to begin with.
