Played the RWBY alpha a bit.

 

Well the RWBY game is broken, your attack gauge doesn't replenish nearly fast enough to counter the attacks of the Grimm, and you can't outmaneuver them either. Then again I might be doing it wrong.

 

And I need a Xbox controller to even properly play the thing, so I guess that's on the list of USB controllers to buy along with a Gamecube one.

 

Game looks good though, practically show-accurate on a 5 year old non-gaming laptop, hack and slash, lock onto targets, a handful of abilities, a Extermination and Survival mode that I can't last a minute in each.

 

It's a Pre-Alpha, and free, can't really complain too much other than I wish they'd have made it for K&M instead of Xbox360 controllers.
