While I say alot of negative things about RWBY nowadays. I try to keep one thing intact.

The utmost respect I do truly have for Monty Oum.

Might say the odd rude thing. But ultimately, I do respect and admire him for the effort he puts into everything he does.

 

I've been following Monty since Haloid, all those years ago. He's a great choreographer and animator. Always has been.

 

I'm not very well suited to reacting to people being in critical condition, or the worst outcome that can come of it. Which is why my earlier posts sounded Apathetic, but I hope this post gave more insight to my actual feelings.

 

I hope Monty pulls through.

I really wish I had better news to share.

Monty passed away yesterday at 4:34 PM.

 

I'd post the link to the journal entry but Rooster Teeths site is down probably because it's flooded with traffic.

And I would not lie about something like this.

Our friend, inspiration and co-worker Monty Oum passed away yesterday afternoon at 4:34 PM surrounded by people who loved him very much. Ten days ago Monty suffered a severe allergic reaction during a simple medical procedure that left him in a coma. Although he fought bravely, his body was not able to recover. Use your imagination to make the world a better place in any way that you can. If you know Monty like we do, then you know he would certainly be doing that if he were able to.
