I am sad, but not as sad as I think I should be, given I never knew Monty personally or ever meet him at all, even online.
But yeah, I think a lot of people saying how ceasing any and all non-greiving activities is not the way to cope with this. Either we'll see rwby keep going in monty's honor, or not. In which case, All I'll have to say is we and it had a good run.
I find myself privileged enough to say I've spoken with him online in the past thru RT Chat. By spoken I mean we typed words at each other and other people, but honestly, the form of communication doesn't really matter.
He communicated with all of us through his creativity come to life all the way from Haloid and Dead Fantasy to Red vs Blue and RWBY.
Don't get me started on Ren. This is why RWBY could use a hiatus. That is one HARD call to make.

Seeing Meg like that, that was hard to watch.
You just never know in this life. We can all go out at any time. The people who cared for him can at least take solace in the fact that he lived an interesting life, and he will live on through his art. We can only guess how many different artists, writers, voice actors, and other such creators he has inspired and will continue to inspire. I never knew the guy or talked to him, but his talent always impressed me.
