My only issue with it getting Japanese dubs is that it would lose that feeling of an RT production that a small team of friends worked on.

They say that because a polite man is a stable man. And pathologically, women are attracted to stability. Has little to do with whether you look at their eyes or someplace else. And besides, if the ladies had considerations about people looking somewhere, they'd wear appropriate clothes to mask that area from gazes (and no, it's not the same as "she was asking for it", just in case someone might think that).
In fact, if caught and confronted, an honest affirmation is a sign of trustworthyness. And trust means stability.
