Am reading an interesting fanfiction: Rebellion - The Fallout of the Second Human-Faunus War.

 

Very AU. Could give a short synopsis, but just reading the first two chapters will make everything pretty clear, so I'll be lazy and skip giving an introduction. The fanfic has one distinctive aspect to it that makes it worthwhile imho and that is Ren's character. This guy is badass, with an extra emphasis on the bad part of the word, as in he's currently the primary antagonist along with Nora.

 

This fic has insane potential!!!

 

Friendly warning, not something Pyrrha-fans might want to read, her part, whilst only having been a very minor offside occurence up to now, is pretty dark and not at all what you'd expect.

lolno, I just breezed through words till I caught Pyrrha's name and ran with it

 

I don't intend to read any RWBY fics till RWBY's got enough content that I feel cool with doing it

The new episode of Death Battle was made in tribute to Monty.

They even included a post fight dance scene like Monty put in Haloid.

I normally don't read fanfic, but that wasn't bad. The dude has a good writing style, and the series manages to be AU without having characters that are OOC. 

 

I'm surprised you thought Pyrrha was the character who received the darkest treatment worth mentioning, though.

Ah, I got you. I should have chosen my words better. It definitely was a twist, though. I like it. It reminds me of some of the books I have read from classical writers, though it really does suck for her.

There was an entertainment expo I went to yesterday, saw people cosplaying as team RWBY but it was only 3/4 members Wince wasn't there.but they were all fantastic.

You know, reading fanfics always makes me so much more interested in the series that they are about. I want a RWBY book where I can get more into the minds of these characters, and I can experience the world of Vale more. The show at it's current form will probably never be able to do it to the level that I want it at, and that bums me out. Ah, well.

Something like that has to be official. I'd dig it if it existed, which makes me wonder if RT will ever consider it.

 

RWBY could expand not just to novels but manga, movies, obviously the game;tons of opportunity to explore the world of Remnant.
