Well, RWBY's not quite like others. You might dig it and want to follow it, or it might be super jarring and put you off. Guess we'll find out soon enough!

You know, reading fanfics always makes me so much more interested in the series that they are about. I want a RWBY book where I can get more into the minds of these characters, and I can experience the world of Vale more. The show at it's current form will probably never be able to do it to the level that I want it at, and that bums me out. Ah, well.

I wouldn't judge just based on those. Keep going even if you think its not something you're up for. You'll miss some fantastic fight scenes if you quit that early.
