Still suck at playing, but not entirely my fault.

 

There is no indication to how the game should be played (had to find out the hard way), so I will say it here.

 

 

The white bar is your Aura, when using skills, you expend Aura. When you get hit, you expend Aura, and when the bar is empty your health bar(green bar below) is expended, then you die.

 

I played on the X1 controller, so your mileage may vary, but the combo list is short (I think maybe 2 combo types), and blocking/dodging is practically useless past holding back attacks waiting for your Aura bar to refill, and believe me it takes a while. Nothing tells you "Oh, this Beowolf is about to try ripping my face off, better guard" Not that would matter, because during combat blocking does nothing, it doesn't cancel combo animations, so you will get hit if that Creep tries to empty your abdomen while you juggle that Beowolf.

 

Locking on is useful, but does not switch to a new target after the original target is killed.

 

And that's about it for the complaints, game still looks good, and the improvements are obvious and good, and it's still an alpha, if I expected a working game already I'm stupid enough to make Jaune look Ozpin tier.

I know I would! Though wouldn't it be annoying if someone had made a custom one as a reminder of how good that would be without it ever being publicly available?
