So I got caught up by watching on Netflix. Which actually makes it hard to tell it's even a series. Fortunately, I was already familiar with roosterteeth, but if i hadn't been, I probably would've just thought I'd stumbled across some cool, new art style anime movies.

I can see how some cosplayers might not be fully informed. Especially if they're into it for the costume or are just filling out a group. Typically if you're gonna go around saying you're a fan of something, you might want to learn more (and if it's something I really like, I'll want to do that on my own), but there's also something to be said for a more casual approach. It makes things more accessible. No one likes to feel like there's a barrier to getting into something they're interested in, or that they aren't cool enough to be a part of the fandom or be told they aren't a real fan.

On the half-baked fans thing again...

 

I guess I can understand why that'd be a problem. Like there are people who haven't memorized every rune in PMMM and don't know every witch name or VA in the show off by heart. I wish I could just throttle these people.

This is relevant as I'm just now halfway through PMMM right now (Which I might add, has been a long time coming. If it hasn't been internet issues whilst trying to just sit down and watch that, it's been my house flooding, I **** you not). And that show is absolutely something I will look around for, to find out all of those things ^ and generally try not to be a pleb. Because damn, is it good.

 

So I can at least half agree with Prince. When you find something that good, you're probably missing out by not going the extra mile. Which you would think cosplayers of all people would be doing anyways. But hey-ho.

Eh, more of a microaggression, and microaggressions aren't always bad. You see, I have a friend who's a Jew, and he went to the gas station with a coworker where they saw a lottery scratchcard with a pot of gold on it. The coworker made a comment about the pot of gold in relation to my friend's heritage, and so, he bought the ticket in order to shut him up and ended up winning 20 grand. So yeah, sometimes microaggressions are good.

I had personally expected a darker look about him. I mean, name is an alliteration to the black feathered bird and wields a scythe which likewise connects to the dark reaper theme. To see him wear that bright grey was unexpected.

 

And I already see Weiss having some jealousy issues with her sister in certain departments
