Well, it's something different. Not bad mind you and RT will obviously not spontanously rework the character models so in the end I don't mind, it's just the difference jumped right in my face when I looked at it and my first thought was "fanart?".

I had personally expected a darker look about him. I mean, name is an alliteration to the black feathered bird and wields a scythe which likewise connects to the dark reaper theme. To see him wear that bright grey was unexpected.
 
And I already see Weiss having some jealousy issues with her sister in certain departments

Being a sister of Weiss, I can only expect great things. I am also partially bias toward women from cold environments/cold in general. Hair color and style also stick out as important for her as well. I can't help myself ;_;

I'm more bias toward the former, but sure. Characters based around her typically have a high chance of being a likeable character for me.

So I thought Qrow would look older and more avuncular.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I like how he looks, like, a lot. It's just not what I was expecting.

 

 

So they're holding the Vytal Festival tournament in the pokemon stadium from Super Smash Bros.?  Or is that the Hunger Games stadium?  So hard to tell these days.

Jokes aside, I like the idea that the combatants will have to deal with environmental hazards too.  Should be more interesting than watching Pyrrha torch Cardin in practice.
