I don't think the moon is breaking up, there is defiantly more than one moon in world of RWBY though. At the end of the Yellow trailer, the moon from black trailer is above Ruby, and the moon from the red trailer is behind Yang. I have a theory about what the moon's significance in the series, but it relates to what was shown in episode one, so it's spoiler.

That article is full of nonsense, it says the werewolves have long, sharp claws. How do we know their claws are sharp? They never got a chance to use them in that trailer.

To be fair, you mentioned it on the MLP thread.

And presumably the claws are sharp, be it that wolves are predatory Or it is much more obvious that they are in the redesign after Monty got some help. Appearantly no help until the second half of making White.
