I feel Velvet doesn't deserve Cardins crap, but Jaune, hell know that I know he's the shows scumbag, Cardin can do as he pleases to him far as I'm concerned.

Jaune was a ****, but I get where he is coming from. He feels that if he wastes Pyrrha's time training him, that makes him the weak link in the team, and that doesn't help him be the hero. He's not being the hero for himself either, he is doing it for his family, so it doesn't go Hero-Hero-Hero-Lucky Idoit

By the way, when will Jaune find out Cardin has absolutely no pull? If he says anything, who would back him up? He was the only one there that would say Jaune forged the papers, and at some point it has to dawn on him as well.

That professor: the coffee at that school must be free to teachers or they pay well.

They had something, something special, a show with a grand amount of potential, with fun characters I enjoyed, it gave me drive to get through the week to see what'd happen next.

For all we know, them being in school might not be the show, just like a beginning arc.

I got no problem with Beacon, but it needs to stop being the focus.
Again, when My OCs are doing more interesting stuff (Solving a Murder Mystery while attending school), you got problems.

It's cause Monty and co decided to make him Worst Character Jaune.

Okay, I've listened to some Tuneage, and played some GTA which has calmed me down.
Jaunedice I will still consider will be the worst Episode/Two-parter of the series thus far, Character development is nice, however turning an alright character into a rude scumbag with Legacy issues is lame, and overdone, and the blackmail angle with Cardin will makes it twice the over doneness. All these episodes have allowed for is more development to supporting characters when we still have 2/4 Main characters without much to them. That being Blake and Best Character Yang, and with 4 episodes left in the season I know we won't get that until next season at the earliest.
Though the addition of Velvet and the new speedster professor were appreciated, overall this episode will be to the series as actual Jaundice is to me, an unforgettable blemish on your life that makes you appreciate being alive, but your still mad you had it anyway.

Beacon was always gonna be a big focus. Look at the description of the series.

Anyway, they need to establish the setting and keep things simple early on. A murder mystery's a little hardcore for a show like this to start out with. Especially if they want kids watching it too.
