As for the possible two week hiatus, I can see it happening should the last and/or second to last episode/s be as long as episodes 1 & 8, which I would imagine is highly likely.

According to the wiki, the finale is about as long as the first episode, clocking in around 11 minutes.

It's possible LP dropped a comment on one of his pics, and mentioned the thread, prompting him to check it out for himself. Or somehow he discovered that some of his stuff on Google led to here. Or just maybe he was always a member here and stumbled upon the thread at the right time.
