It's a relief that the quality of the voice acting is significantly better than the trailer's VO. The first episode did surprisingly well in it's setup for the overarching plot, as the monsters of Grimm be hatin, Dust = Angel Dust?, dat Glenda Goodwitch, Ozpin looks like a potential candidate for main villain, lulz @ Ruby Rose's uncle, and Beacon Academy is one fine lookin piece of architecture (no sexual)... (srsly)

Plus, did anyone else laugh @ Torchwick's wanted poster as it looked like he gained 40 lbs?

Cortana doing the plot exposition was pretty boss, credit to her.

She nailed it. Master level VO by Jen Taylor. And that was her FIRST TAKE when they recorded it.

Well, Kara can be hella annoying sometimes. In the pre-show stream they were describing motions that Miles would make when describing the kind of attitude Weiss would have, and it was the snappy sort of "Oh no you didn't" snap of the fingers shaking the arm type thing.

That terrifies me. But it would totally explain why Kara's voicing her.
