Do you guys think they will start the tournament in volume 2 and make it the lets introduce lots and lots of chracter season or start in the finale episodes

My guess is it will start in volume 2.

Seems like they are going the relatively short time between episodes timeline wise, and the way Glynda spoke of it like it is a good 6 to 7 months away. Kind of like a final or AP Exam.

So, I think the tournament is next Volume

Right now it seems that the last two episodes may focus on the invasion of Beacon academy. I think that would be an interesting way to end the season, and it would also set up the show to be more like it was in the trailers if Beacon ends up being destoyed in the process.

If not we gotta loooootta schooling to look forward to. Which means that there could be tournaments, so that is not necessairly a bad thing.

Wait is that reall everyone has been talking about redicting that the school would be attacked. I just thought it was to early for that. Those kind of things always happen during some kind party,gala, festival,tourney etc.
And who would do it, Roman, not know the number of powerful Hunter and Huntresses and him not having enugh force to stop a young girl.

We still need a slear nod to who the main antagnist is.
