You haven't lived if you never digged a hedgehog into cold water.
It's the cutsiest sound you'll ever hear. Just a short, nearly inaudible "squee". Though possibly followed by a rather loud "ow" if you weren't careful with holding it of course.

I went back to the episode, and they mentioned the Fauna Civil Rights thing, and it made me wonder.
What if those people weren't actually human but were something else entirely, and Blake's one of them?

The only outlier is Ruby who's 15 but got bumped up two years.

Somehow I doubt Blake is enrolled at Beacon if the trailer is anything to go by. If colorcode is something important (and I think it is) then Blake (and Adam) are more likely to be from a sort of shadow culture from the edges of "civilized" humanity.

Ozpin. Its a little reference to The Wizard of Oz. Ozpin is the headmaster of Beacon Academy after all. Then you have Glinda Goodwitch which is obviously named after Glinda the Good Witch of the South.

Monty clarified that they(the characters) aren't based on the fairytales, they just have light allusions to them, so don't expect Ruby to be facing down wolves 24/7 or Yang making Stephen Colbert proud by taking down bears.

I suspect an episode now where blake will be confronted by the fauna extremist group who try to get her to help them, and will need to choose weather to help her friends or her people.
