Dust is mad convenient to purchase.
Convienent, yes, but is it cheap?

I imagine it works sort of like, "I'd like to buy *insert lb or oz of dust you want*"
And then you get handed a container and you're free to take whatever dust you want. Or perhaps some types of dust cost more than others.
Of course then you have the crystal form, which is obviously gonna be different than the dust in liquid form.
I think its pretty cool, actually.

There must be quite a few dust shops, commonplace enough judging by the way Roman was talking about them being hard to find open at night.

And dust shops would most likely use grams, considering the currency is yen.

Brah, its fictional. Who knows.
Still, I'd like to check it out, learn more about what particular types do, and what the different uses are for solid crystallized dust and liquified dust.

The solid crystals should have formed long chains of [whatever dust is molecularly]. The breaking of these chains would have a more and different effect than the liquid dust.
It is possible that what the liquid dust is is a fine powdered dust suspended in a neutralizer to keep it from reacting, given the smaller crystals would have shorter chains and more easily react to the environment.
And so ends our lesson of Over-analysis 101.

I don't know. I mean, we do know that Myrtenaster runs on liquid dust, rather than solid. I wonder if it could, if it was made that way from the start.

Do we even know it's liquid? From the looks of it it mist just be, ... well, dust. As in diamond dust.

Yeah? Well Amerigo was Italian.
And his cousin was awesome.

Sounds like liquid rushing into the containers to me.

If the common theory that dust somehow denominates an energy source is correct, that sound might have been those containers charging to maximum load threshold. It should also be noted that all those cylinders have the same color scheme, so the little meter at the outside is not likely to be simply a measurement of how much dust is contained as it obviously makes for poor storage if every type looks the same.

I'm not assuming that dust in RWBY is actual dust, like ours.

Dusty Phlebotinum? Uncleanium? If raw dust is hazardous, do they call waste disposal or the cleaners?
