I did, because he's based on Monkey from Journey to the West, the same character Goku was based on (Power pole right)

So, this episode was basically to show off the skill set of the two new characters introduced last week. While I definitely enjoyed the fights, I can't help but feel a bit underwhelmed. We started off with an exposition dump to a stranger (thankfully Weiss remarks upon this), followed by a quite convenient sting that reveals pretty much what we knew all along, and ends with Weiss somehow deciding that she can forgive Blake for whatever. Not a bad episode, but it would've worked better if Blake had that initial chat with Weiss; Weiss then comes up with the sting operation, since it makes more sense; and together they fight against the "White Fang" and Roman.

Oh, well, we'll just have to wait and see what season 2 has in store for us.

Notes:

- Sun's weapon was awesome

- I'm not entirely sure how Penny's weapon/s work

- Roman greeting Ruby:lol:

- "These kids just keep getting weirder."

Nano-fibers that can be controlled with electric current/dust, you see the strings when she repels herself back and when she is pulling on the VTOL.

Well, I don't entirely know how I thought of that, so it can be up in the air. Kind of like that one time when someone told me what the LAER standed for (Laser Assisted Electrical Rifle) and I just kind of knew that it worked by ionizing the air with a infared lazer and sending an electric current through the chamber of ionized air.

Well, actually, that can be explained with that it ionizes the air within the circle of blades, and creates enough heat from the crossing fields to create a small amount of plasma, which when released causes a massive venting of super-heated plasma on the weak points created within the containment area.

And I petition the fan name for Penny's weapon (which I am not salivating over, shush) simply be called The Blades
