I don't know about that, Liam.

Any combination could happen. If anything, my assumption would be that Yang would get paired up with someone we haven't seen yet, and they'd beat her.

Then we'd see her rage or something.

If Yang DID fight Ruby, I'd expect Yang to win, yeah.

Yang v Nora? Then I could see Yang losing. Though if Yang beats her too...

I still maintain a likely scenario would be Yang losing to an as of yet unseen character.

Yang vs Ruby- Yang wins
Weiss vs Ren- Weiss wins
Pyrrha vs Unseen- Unseen wins(starts to move the plot forward)
Blake vs Unseen- Unseen wins(supplements the above)
Jaune vs Unseen- Unseen wins(goes to show Jaune still has a lot to learn, but he puts up a hell of a fight)
Nora vs Unseen- Nora wins
Cardin vs Unseen- Unseen wins

Yang vs Nora- Yang wins
Weiss vs Unseen- Unseen wins(again, pushes the plot forward)
Unseen vs Unseen- Unseen wins
Unseen vs Unseen- Unseen wins

Yang vs Unseen- Yang wins(gives you hope)
Unseen vs Unseen- Unseen wins

Yang vs Unseen- Unseen wins(this one being some special sort of thing that pushes the plot into overdrive)

Hell Bias would get VLAD up to semi finals,
Derek beats Pyrrha and Weiss, before Yangs rage destroys his sensors and she kicks his ass.
Alur beats Jaune and Cardin, then Nora beats him
Victor beats Russel and Nora and Boxes Yang to a standstill before running out of electrolytes and collapsing from exhaustion.
Lilith takes out the rest of CRDL in a 2V1 and is beat by Blake.
