So I've seen the first episode. Style, Action, CG Eye Candy, and a dash of humor are the winning ingredients. Particularly the 3D effects with the huntress are gorgeous. Unsurprisingly, the storyline didn't do a thing for me - there's too many absurdities to take it seriously. I almost get a Final Fantasy VIII Vibe from the academy, where it's combining Modern, Urban, and Fantasy elements.

All in all, I'm OK with it, but not quite a fan.

The first 2(or more) episodes of MLP didn't impress me either, I'll probably give it a chance. It's hard to go wrong with the price of $0.00 to watch. Some shows do the full absurdity thing perfectly, just ask bobobobobobo. It's just difficult to tell a meaningful storyline with strangely-clad girls with giant weapons fighting against mobsters and robots.

Well, its only been one ep. Dunno yet how the story will go.

If I'm hearing it right, the first season will be made up of ten "chapters", which in total will be made up of 16 episodes.

Got some time to see what develops.

Heck, even if the story is as dull as a sphere, I'll watch it for the combat animation.

I'll watch it because it can end up leading to greater things. Ex- RvB's first five seasons compared to the five seasons that followed them.

I haven't seen pretty much anything about her, just optimism based on her colour. Black > Dark > Gothic. Shot in the dark.

Blake is still best character. 

I guess Red is the closest to the gothic scene judging by her style.
