And by the year thing, I mean let the team have a year of experience animating the show.
Don't worry, I say things that can easily (more often than what I intend it to mean) be seen as something worse/doesn't make sense..

All better?

Imagine the things they could pull off if they alternated Red vs Blue and RWBY seasons, and add a year or two.
They probably would be able to animate her eating every bite.
The question is ... do we need to see every bite? Is it substantial for our understanding and enjoyment of the series?
Are you willing to wait double the time for the next episode/arc just to see characters waggle a toe or how to purse their lips when slurping their soup in the cantina?

Reminds me of the final "bear" fight from Afro Samurai, though somehow makes more sense in the RWBY Universe.
As far as the possibility of RVB/RWBY/A&W alternating, I'd only go for that if the alternation were in high frequency. Don't want fans going in withdrawal Mid-Season.

See, I'm fine with waiting a year. I already do it for Game of Thrones, RvB, MLP, so waiting for RWBY really isn't out of my possibilities.
Plus, with those shows, plus games, books- there's plenty to pass the time with.
I don't know about Ruby though. She probably passes the time by eating cookies.

The only downside is ... now I have to wait a year for the next book coming *sniff*.
Err, well ... I still got RWBY, RvB, games, manga, anime and the occasional worthwhile series to keep my busy.
Might even reread the whole Dune novels and start Ender's Game while I'm at it.
But hey, two more days and we have our next RWBY fix.

Although now that I think about it I'd really like to see some Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire allusions/easter eggs in RWBY, even though its heavily unlikely.

I read/have read A Song of Ice and Fire, prior to GoT even existing. Love them both to death. But thats off topic.

Didn't I already said that Crimson/Wicked Witch = Melisandre?
Rhollor shall defend Vale from the Night, for the shadows are full of terrors.

No red wedding please ... I still want to squeeze the life out of that old geezer and his sons for that. Oh how I shall relish the chapter in which he and his wretched family hive will get their due. I am only partly sad that it won't be Tywin to arrange a "Rains of the Twins", he'd been the perfect man to deal with that disfunctional madman.
Guess Stannis would do a nice enough job too, though.

Speaking about Weiss, we've gotten some reports by those that were at RTX and saw a preview of episode 2. Basically, Weiss is the rich girl. So a snob, is my assumption.

Well, as daughter to what have to be the owners of THE business in Vale of course she'd be rich. I wouldn't go as far as to expect her to be snobbish. Snobbish people don't fight, they have others fight for them. Cold, reluctant and other loner qualities, most likely, may a bit pampered upbringing leading to poor social skills are also in the spectrum of possibilities, but frankly I have a hard time imagining her as snobby or anywhere close to the stereotypical rich girl/brat.

But I mentioned before that her family chooses what she wears, which is why its so symmetrical and such. Hell she has the family cutiemark/insignia on the back of her outfit.
What her family can't do is control her hair- so she wears her ponytail off-center as a form of not just individuality but defiance.
