It's simpler now.

Oh, right, I forgot that conversation.

Well, it would basically be a circular, slightly bowled shield, about shoulder height, and would have a crossbar that would be used in a similar fashion to a staff.

Edge would be sharpened, and can gain a momentum to cause movement direction for the user.

Folds in quarters in a rotational fashion. Quarters can be separated independently and combined with the crossbar for use as dual hachets.

Same way with my OCs Liliths (Blade shot gauntlets) and Dereks (Crawford) weapons
Both of them involve gauntlets weirdly.

Side note: Watching Doctor Horrible after basically the destruction of YangLuv was a god-awful idea on my part....I remember why I cancelled my series Dr. Nefarium...this suit is really warm.
