Not really, seems pretty normal sized for what it is as a scythe/rifle hybrid. If you think that's oversized dont ever watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

Nah. All we know is what people who attended RTX have told us, as they saw a preview of this episode after they saw episode one.
Thats how we know Blake and Weiss are in this ep. I didn't look for more information than that because I wanted to be surprised, rather than have the content of the preview spoiled for me.
