In my experience, they can sometimes get a bit annoyed by it. 

Not that I know, never had a girlfriend, just what I've seen.

Gambol Shroud would be pretty heavy if I made it right? Depending on the steel, it could easily be 35 or so pounds (16 kilos)

If I made it, it would be cheaper to deliver in person than to ship it out there. XD

Including the sheath? Definitely, I would imagine that would weigh abotu 10 kilos, the sword/pistol, probably about 6 maybe?

I don't know, one of the tangents, calculating cost tends to stop me from starting so I don't waste money on something I can't finish.

I was thinking of giving it to Rooster Teeth after I did it. Wouldn't seem right if I left it in my house where only I could appreciate it.

And it being as heavy as it is, it would be cheaper to hand deliver and visit some family and RT in Austin while I'm at it.

She'd know I'd be nervous to be with her...not only is she great, Yang's constantly in danger, and I'm paranoid. So I can't really help it.
I think Yang'd be ok with it, but not thrilled.
