Pyrrha does have an awesome voice, but then again so does everyone on RWBY right now.

Even Ms. Fun-tastic herself Jessica Nigri had a great little VO bit.

I think the biggest difference is that Pyrrha's VA only does acting. She's not an editor or a receptionist or anything. Her voice has to be her bread and butter.

Plus the fact that Pyrrha is 100% awesome. It's been scientifically proven.

Remind me again about voice acting and its difficulty, sheesh. I'd know, I practice from time to time.

I can understand Michael's hesitance. Lindsay said he was nervous that his voice was gonna be terrible for RWBY because he'd never done VO of the sort RWBY uses before.

Turns out he was fantastic at it. Props to him, seriously.

Well he has put his voice though absolute hell for the past few years. I wonder if that would make it easier or harder.

Props to Nigri as well. Little as it was, it was perfectly fine.

I wonder how she'll sound at length.

She did really well to.

But there is one that is extremely hard to top.

Jen Taylor.

Michael, pre-Roosterteeth, sounded way more Jersey with his accent.

Since getting picked up by RT officially 6 months after his afore-linked rage they loved so much, he worked to get rid of his Jersey accent and sound a little different.

He's succeeded. That slow work to change how he sounds helped him, and I don't think that crossed his mind when he was nervous as hell.

Well, it's like having Pearlman in the Fallout games.

Get a really well known VA or actor to voice your intro.

Gets that hook in that much easier.

Ahh how far he has come since then. Like I said, he's always been my favorite.

Voice acting is a hard job. I don't think many people actually understand how difficult it can be, sometimes even more so then regular acting.

Gotta express as much as you can through just sound, no visuals.

Its nuts.

I have to go stand up when I voice act.

I talk with my hands a lot, and I have knocked my laptop off the desk.

Joel and Gavin talk a lot with their hands.

I'd Morgan Freeman it if I voice acted. Just sit on a chair with some tea.

"YOU KILLED MY FAMILY! I AM GOING TO KILL YOURS! AND STUFF!!"
