I'm also in agreement with arcadian a few pages back. The series works well so far in short pieces, though I'm curious how that will play out later on. The dialogue is a mish-mash of Sailor Moon, Final Fantasy, and maybe a bit of Harry Potter? The 3D-rendered anime stuff at the beginning of Ep. 2 was a pleasant surprise, they did very well.
So far, so good. I like the style, and I'm legitimately curious where it goes from here. Since I'm around, here's a wallpaper.

Honestly I don't mind the episode length anymore, so long as it no longer feels like it ended as soon as it began like episode 2. It's all in the pacing.
You still haven't apologized for what you did.

Episodes without combat scenes should stay at 6 minutes like the past two eps have been, while episodes with combat scenes should be as long as the first episode was. That would probably be best I think.

Well, the longer episodes were being referred to as the ones that needed to be longer, likely for importance.
Chances are those include combat.
As far as the show goes, out of Team RWBY we've only seen Ruby fight.
I imagine the trials they have to go through will be shown in the next episode and will include combat, hopefully featuring all four.

Also, I wonder how they'll be scored on their trials.
First Wish- Ruby
Second Wish- Weiss
Third Wish- Blake
Final Score- BEST CHARACTER YAAAANG(how convenient, thank you Robot Unicorn Attack)
