The Bechdel is a dumb test anyway, everything fails it.
Reverse the genders and it'll fail too.
Sexes tend to talk about the other sex.
That's how life works.

Hell Birds of Prey (A comic series that I recommend to everyone) fails it and it was written by a woman, so there is no gender bias ffs.

The test measures how accurate the show is to genders, specifically females, based on how quickly they pass. Clearly RWBY passes almost instantly, because the first conversation (between Glynda and Ruby) was about Ruby, and I can't think of when they did "talk about boys" other when Weiss mentioned it in a satirical manner.

Because you know, this is such a girly show.*eye roll*

Anytime where they talk about the opposite gender and it fails, this includes the talk about Qrow, Jaune throwing up, and a whole lotta other stuff.
That's how I understand it anyway.

When you have an antagonist that is male you are kinda granted to mention them at some point. Hell the only way I can think of it being possible is if the cast is entirely female, without a single male character.
