They are slowly creeping their way into mainstream relevance. RWBY might actually be their big stepping stone. Or it could be the thing that tears the fanbase apart. Really, RWBY is a pivotal moment in the history of this company. They can either get a huge fanbase or alienate their old fan base. I am really interested in seeing what happens.

I don't see RWBY having THAT much of an effect.

I'm already reading about old school subscribers and sponsors leaving because they don't like that RWBY is being produced and RvB is changing. I honestly think that they are alienating their older fans a bit. However, this is also the first show that they've had that has gained a following outside of their site and youtube. If they can make this series something truly special, then they can have a meal ticket.

Naw, Cinder is Firefox.

Yang is Opera, Blake is Netscape and Weiss Mosaic.

Opera better not be compared to anyone, it used to be so nice and beautiful, now it's just a pile of disappointment and garbage.

Small group then. Much smaller than anything substantial.

I'm going to remember this for the future in case Pyrrha turns to horseapples.

At any rate, Freelancers and RWBY really show how much one man can change a whole company.

Older RT fans, do you feel that this change is good or bad. Meaning, will you enjoy the newer attitude more than you will miss the older one?

Given I consider myself a long time RT fan since I was introduced early into RvB, I'm fine with the evolution of RT since its beginning.

You're saying Pyrrha is a polarity?

Tbh, it would take a lot for me to dislike Pyrrha as a character.

Even if she was a Faunus hater, killed, cooked, and ate Jaune and Nora, was working for Cinder, and was a secret Grimm creature, she could still be a good, well written character that I would enjoy.

I'm curious, what would have to happen for you to start disliking her?

Be poorly written.

It wouldn't have to be Pyrrha either, could be any character.

As long as such a descent is believable

Pyrrha is pretty interesting overall. Does anyone think theres a reason shes helping Juane the way she is for any other reason then liking him?

I think she's helping him because he needs help, and that's just the kind of person she is.
(is taking this straight from the director's commentary from the DVD)

Makes sense. Wouldnt be surprised if he turned out to be pretty powerful by the end. It does seem like they are building him up for something since he was made the team leader and Pyrrha did comment he had a lot of aura or w/e they called it.

That lucky SoB.
