I'm talkin legit Pirate AU. No air ship shenanigans here.
I demand The Dreaded Pirate Queen Yang engaging in battle with the British Navy with just one ship and winning!
Ruby is Yangs navigator. Weiss is presumably the same just more colonial, and Blake is reaaaaally is easy to guess...

Got my entire sibling line watching RWBY.
17 year old brother: check (though I found out the other day, didn't even know Weiss' last name)
10 year old brother: check
8 year old sister: check

I'm visiting them at somepoint next week, I'll ask the younger two ones their opinions on RWBY.

I'll always see the one-eye thing as stupid, but otherwise I'm fine with it. Looks cool.

Well if you're going to do a time jump (10 years in mine and 6-8 for her I forget) you should have some fun and add stuff like that.
That's why my Ruby has a sick Robot Arm.

What I mean by that is simply that it isn't necessary to do things like that

A mental, spiritual, or psychological change can be much more compelling than a physical one

But because a physical one's the easiest to do, its what everyone jumps towards

And specifically the one eye thing- thats been overdone to death
