Pet peeve of the RWBY fandom:

Spelling of names.

Jaune, not: John, Jon, Jean, Jaun, or Juane.
Pyrrha, not: Pyyrha, Pira, Pyra, or Pyrhha
Ren, his name is REN. So many people forget this
Sun, not Son.

Why is this so difficult for people? It takes the span of seconds to look up.

People are doo doo heads

Least we never do that.
Especially not Hanar in regards to Pyrrha.

I have gotten into the habit of putting everything in my browser's spell check dictionary.

All 600+ Pokemon? Check
Every RWBY character's name, weapon, and the show title? Check

I do that with words I come up with.

That's different Hanar, your doing it on purpose. Like a nickname

And according to Writer's commentary, yes, Pyrrha will get some development screen time in the next Volume.

Immunity by exposure, like a guy that has been bitten by snakes so much that normally lethal venom only causes minor discomfort.

Yeah, I suppose it would be more disturbing if I started acting completely trustworthy. :P

So, those glyphs that Weiss makes have what appears to have a language on them.

Thoughts?

I've suspected that it's some sort of a combination between dust and magic. That's the first conclusion I can draw. If it really is magic, then the type of language there would suggest that the magic is ancient.

Well, the Glyph construction is Weiss' Semblance like Pyrrha said.

Myrtenaster meshes really well with her Semblance. That could give some clues as to when people generally find their Semblance. Ruby seems to have made Crescent Rose within the last 3 years, given how much of a problem she would have if she were 12 trying to fling that thing around.

I dunno.
Maybe there's an ancient Civilization that was destroyed by Grimm or something.
Totally not a Plot point in Remembrance *Whistles*

It does.

Then again, I've seen languages where they were made for the occasion and they looked familiar.

For future reference, I like taking an electron microscope to things and use them for world building.

I dislike fan-world building (*cough*faunushealingfactor*cough*), so I try to build as much as I can from what I've got with no fabrication of elements.

Well The Clerics are of my design spawned from playing too much Metal Gear and Resident Evil.
Am I doing this wrong?
I mean, I admit 100% that everything in Remembrance and VLAD aren't and shouldn't be canon since it's me goin nuts with Montys work. Hence all the robit arms.

No, yours are an AU of sorts, and has OC's, I just dislike when authors pull something out of nowhere that is completely unjustified other than for the sake of it being metaphorical duct tape to cover plot holes, and act like it has always been part of the world that we are just supposed to accept.

I'm trying to think of a well known example...

We need some sort of confirmation on the scope of Faunus types.

Are they going to stay within Mammals? Do what type they are determine what part of their respective animal they posses, or is it just random?(because I'm mighty sick of tailed Blake).

Tailed Blake is the worst. (unless we're counting Futa!Blake)

But yeah I agree.
