No, Medusa is a Gorgon, snakes in her hair, I'm more thinking of the story of Lamia, the queen that was(in some counts) turned insane by Hera and make her into a child-eating half-serpent

Well, varies on the interpretation, in God of War for example, Gorgons had snake bodies along with the snake hair. Also in both versions of Clash of the Titans....at least if I remember right.

The gag was a 2-person effort, I was the only one doing anything.
Arryn didn't want to contribute, leading to Arrynologys downfall.
