Assassin Blake reminded me of this Weiss design.  I'm not a huge fan of funblades RWBY designs, but I absolutely love this one.  Doesn't really need the pauldron/cape though.  Spoiler tagged because its kind of a big picture.

Example of how to make glass-looking heels for Cinder cosplay.

 

Use heel to create a mold, fill the mold with Polyethylene terephthalate

 

Use a lighter to melt soot into the outerlayer, be careful how fast, don't want to blemish them or leave a pure black mark.

 

And done.

I'll tell you one thing though, hardest part of writing with Pyrrha as a main character: She has a very unconventional speech pattern and mannerisms. I had to splice together all of her speaking lines and listen to that for a good hour or two to understand how it is she speaks.

 

Of course, I can't explain it to people, I've never been good at that.

 

Oh, and if anyone wants to pre-read, it's essentially cut down to the first act while I work on the second and third(of three), so if you want, I'll PM or invite you to it. Guy I asked can't give any advice with it, other than how I might be a little off on Blake's character.
