The creature weapons seem to be normal attacks... how do I make a creature attack a touch attack?  Trying to do a rust monster's antennae, and would like to do it as a touch attack...

I think it pretty much has to be a special ability. A simple custom AI script could do the trick.

I'm not sure how you would do it with a creature weapon - I would bet there's an entry in a 2da somewhere where you can specify the range of the attack.

But doing it with a spell script would be pretty straight forward.

You could write a spell script for the ability and add an entry to the spells.2da file. The spells.2da file has a column for RANGE. This is where you specify the range of the spell. "T" is for "Touch". This ensures your spell would be a touch attack.

I'd probably start with an existing spell script like Ghoul Touch or one of the other spells that you know is a touch attack spell.

If you make it a real spell with an entry in the 2DA file then you can assign it as a Special Ability in the creature's blueprint. You can set the level, number of times to use (or unlimited), etc.

If this is just for every time you touch the creature then make it some new skin/hide and add to the item properties "on hit cast spell" something that does damage as ColorsFade says you could use a ghoul touch then the engine would have to check if you got touched by the antenna and give out the damage if you did.

problem is, that's usually a weapon (vs AC) attack, not a touch attack, and I already have too many 2da files for my liking.
