The Log-In popup stopped popping up, again.  It did that once before, I may want to find the old thread and kill this one, and I think I recall how that "finding" works. 

When AHQ was new, it didn't like the combination of WinXP and Firefox, nor was it happy with Chrome, or Safari.  I used Opera for many months, then that wouldn't work.  I tried Sea Monkey for awhile, but it was slower than raw molasses syrup in winter.  Suddenly, the current one I'd used for six months can't log in (QT-Web). 

I tested Sea Monkey, and the pop-up fails in that also. 

Last time, I don't recall hearing of anyone else in a similar situation.  Tuesday afternoon, th Opera browser "sort of" worked at AHQ.  I seldom have need of Origin for what I do, but it turns out I cannot log in there either.

There are announcements at AHQ about Origin Sign-In problems, but the newest post of any kind was 3:43 AM, Pacific time.

Origin had some sort of server failure, they've said; it was working at 9:00 AM, CDT, and once I logged on there and checked at AHQ again, then my Log-In for there worked, finally.  Happily, it has worked with Firefox, so I can set aside substitutes for AHQ now.
