That goes for any story, doesn't it?
For a game that prided itself in being an RPG where choices matter thats a pretty damn large shortcoming in ME 3.
the game has multiple endings, each very different. People just didn't like them.
Theres a bloody good reason the vast majority of players prefer Destroy over all other choices since the rest are just plain stupid and contrary to what a paragon Shepard would do. Control only works for an extreme megalomaniac. Synthesis feels completely out of place and not a viable option for any Shepard. And Refuse is just a poorly done "game over".

I still play ME 3 MP quite regularly.

You probably meant the SP campaign, though. I don't play that, anymore. I played the first two games a couple of times each. I'm very completionist, so I finished all the missions and fetch quests the first time, was content with my LI choices, and my others, so there was no need to go back and play again. I didn't really care to see the consequences of the Renegade choices... at least not enough to play the entire game again.

The third one is a bit of a chore to get through, in spite of the fetch quest simplification. I played it three times - I can't really see myself every playing through it again.

Thats why having multiple and greatly varied endings wouldve actually helped immensely.

Then I'd say they weren't varied in the right ways, huh?

I don't think variance is a problem at all. They just sucked.

I still play...However after playing ME2 so many times... It's become a drag... ME3 is the best paced game in the series... and is the most replayable.

It could be that some people enjoy revisiting old games. It doesn't defy logic or something. :?

or they could simply play the hundreds of other games

I'm sure people can manage to do both. I do. Hell I still turn on my SNES.

Fair enough. For the vanilla endings there really wasnt much variance at all outside of the coloured "space magic". With EC though  it simply comes down to the fact that all outside Destroy dont feel even remotely satisfying. Not having 3 or 4 vastly different endings that actually fit inside the game lore and were dependant on choices is what I was refering to earlier in my original post.

Why am I not surprised? Youre a diehard sychophant of Bioware, even though they're a far cry from the company that they once were.

The title says it all. After all this time passesd, how many can honestly still say you enjoy replaying the series over?

It took me over a year, plus the creation of the Happy Ending Mod to finally start over.

The Crucible is still a bad plot device and there are many, MANY flaws in the main story and side stories of ME3, but at least the ending stays tonally consistent with the rest of the franchise, the characters remain their lovable selves - and some, like Jack, actually improve in ME3 - and the combat is the best in the series.

I'm willing to go back... after carefully deleting the Starbrat and Synthesis from existence.

Mass Effect is still a good story, so yes, I do replay it often enough.

My biggest gripe about it, tho, isn't the endings.  It's the way earth was shoe-horned.  My Shepards are spacers, and don't consider any planet "home".  Won't stop them from retaking Earth.

Gosh, Gabbenator... are you trying to hurt my feelings or something?

Anyway, you asked a question and got an answer. Not everyone is as butthurt as you, I guess.

I think I've played ME3 6 times now...I'm losing count. And I've just started a new trilogy playthrough...I love ME3 and I don't give a toss about the endings, because I enjoy the game play...end of the day, you don't play a game or watch a movie or read a book, etc. just to see how it ends. If that was true every game ever made would only have two missions, with a bunch of cut-scenes between to explain the story.
Mass Effect is about the story, the ending is just narrative.

Why would i go back to the game that once told me:"F*** you, nothing you've ever done matter, now go die like a b***"?

Butthurt is the incorrect  term more like mildly astonised that there exists Bioware fanboys who vocally defend and still play an obviously rushed and inferior game in every sense of the term (in comparison to the previous ME games minus the combat ). I might be more disapointed with how ME has turned out, but such is the price to pay for wanting my video games to be of  a high quality.

And yes anybody who actually thinks DA 2 is a good or better game than DA:O is a total clown worthy of my above title.

who do you think you are kid?

Hey, I like to revisit the best virtual friends I've ever had, in spite of any ending. Maybe that experience is superior to someone's other supposedly 'superior' game. Fun is fun, and I'll decide that for myself, thank you very much.

A comitted ME fan who is sad to see the series end on a fairly low note. Pretty obvious isnt it?

I still play multiplayer regularly, but SP, nope. I never planned to get any of the dlc after extended cut, but I broke down and picked up From Ashes for a last playthrough because Protheans. But even then I just turned the game off after the missles in London. I'll probably replay 1&2 at some point and hopefully be able to pretend 3 didn't happen.

If you want to be taken seriously, stop belittling other people's opinions. Otherwise, you just come across as a total idiot who can't accept that not everyone thinks the same way.
1)The series will continue,ME4 is already confirmed

2)You should probably spend your time doing something more "productive" instead of calling other people clowns on a forum.Every person has different opinions and preferences, for example i don't like ME1 at all.

Flaming will only get you banned

Well the OP's attitude was good for a few laughs at least. Better an entertaining jerk than a boring jerk.
