I play it everyday, usually. Currently on playthrough 16. Thing is, I always do trilogy playthroughs. So, I usually play ME1 and ME2 prior to popping in 3. Which kinda sucks because its like I'm getting the ultimate shot of nostalgia (ME1), then having time drag out as slow as molasses while I'm mostly just looking forward to playing the last mission (ME2), to finally being entertained again (ME3)

I will! Now and again. As with most old games I still like.

A lot of butthurt in this thread. Oh burn! intelligent conversation started! No wait, that's not it. Granted with OPs posts that's not really surprising this thread is going anywhere but down.

I have played ME3 numerous times. I haven't since the middle of April due to the other games that have come out. I am currently playing Saints Row 3. When done, I will play ME3 a couple more times before Saints Row 4 comes out

Why would i go back to the game that once told me:"F*** you, nothing you've ever done matter, now go die like a b***"?

Amen brother.

Yea, my copy never said any of that. Maybe you guys got the space edition?

To answer the OP, after I do a full Renegade trilogy run I'm probably not gonna touch it again for years. I'm simply burnt out of Mass Effect and there are so many games I've missed out on this year.

EDIT:

Did you make this thread because you were geniunely curious? Or did you do it to validate your own insecure hatred of a videogame? Consider you jumped on the first guy who stated that he does indeed still play the game, I'm gonna go head and guess it's the latter.

I've replayed it plenty of times. Mass Effect 3 is my favourite game in the trilogy now, for being the most refined gameplay-wise and having the most engaging story. I may be in the minority here, but I also reckon it has the best squad and the most likeable main handle (Hackett) of the three.

I only replay the others so I can replay Mass Effect 3. They have their good moments, but they're kind of few and far between. Mass Effect 1 doesn't really get good until Virmire. Mass Effect 2 doesn't really get good until you're past the recruitment missions and started doing the loyalty missions. Mass Effect 3 has a crap prologue mission, but gets progressively better from Mars onwards.

I know others balk at the cinematic feel of the game, as it may detract from the RPG elements somehow, but I really do like the effect it has on the game. I know this isn't a movie, but it doesn't matter. It's something that kind of adds to the replay value of the game for me, and thankfully, with the DLC's installed, a lot of the chore stuff can be ignored and still meet or exceed the minimum required to get the the "best" end results.

Eh, I kind of enjoyed ME1's/ME2's low budget Star Treky-feel. I thought it catered well to old-school sci-fi fans.

As for the EMS system, yea I do like the fact that I don't have to grind to get the highest tier ending but it's still pretty stupid to have a system like that at all since it puts a universal number on assets that have different circumstantial worth.

I can't do it anymore.  I want to so badly, but I can't bring myself to do it.  Why?  Because it's so damn linear, if you played it once, you've played it a million times.  I know ever corny line of Shepard's awful dialog.

I still play. Why? Because I love the characters. There's nothing new to discover but I still feel a craving for being Shepard and rallying the entire galaxy against the Reapers. Am I nuts? No. There are certain games I replay because I love them. All the ME games fall in that category.

I just found my Crusaders of the Dark Savant game from waaaaa........ay back. Gonna play. Yipee!

I enjoy the other 2 games immensely and am replaying ME1, but the cinematic bit does start at ME2.

since the extended cut came out ME3 has been my favorite.

I just really like the total war/end of the galaxy vibe it gives off.

plus I'm happy with the extended cut high EMS destroy ending.

I was a huge critic of it pre EC... but I'm content now, am I a heretic?

I still play it. Playing on PC with the MEHEM mod makes it worthwhile.

I'll be honest - I have no idea how the next Mass Effect title can top the characters from this trilogy. I'm going to try and play the next game without any comparisons. It's going to be difficult. Alcohol would likely help. :P

Yeah, I still play all three of them. Am almost done with my current trilogy run romancing Miranda for the first time. I have a terrible habit of having to do every mission (yes, even all the mineral scanning in ME1) on every playthrough. I'm also currently obsessed with getting all 57 (I think?) ME3 weapons maxed out which probably means about 500 gold prize matches at the Armax Arena. Image IPB

There are still a few things I haven't done (ex: romance Jack) and a few I probably won't ever do (kill Mordin and/or Wrex to sabotage the cure) but it's still fun. Even after many, many times through the trilogy, I can still find something new. In the ME2 game for my current run, I saved a ton of missions to do after the suicide mission and got dialogue with Legion I hadn't seen before. Also took him to Tali's trial. Image IPB

I feel the exact same way about all of the above

I've replayed for a couple of reasons. I kind of like Miranda and Jack equally, so I wanted to see how their stories pan out (as romances). I also like to get Xbox achievements, so had to get an Insanity run. I also like Soldiers and Infiltrators equally, so....

I'm not sure how good of a gauge I am here... but I've replayed all three games about 4-5 times before I lost interest in them.

Played through twice? Couldn't be bothered with that vomit pile afterwards.

Damn, not even worth a second playthrough? lol, and I thought I was a tough critic.

I really don't dislike it that much. I just dislike the ending. There's a lot of other parts that are awesome.

Yeah tried right after EC came out.  Ended up quitting and uninstalling shortly after the coup, I just couldn't bear to play any further.

THen I discovered MEHEM a few months later...
