It's just that the klixen look like the Rachni crossed with the devil. I'm just wondering if maybe they're some sub-specie of rachni. Or maybe they're the source of the "sour, yellow note" that the rachni queen mentioned, meaning that the rachni war was originally supposed to be an offensive against the klixen.

Irony dictates the Rachni never started the war. The Klixen did, and then they tricked the galaxy into thinking it was the Rachni.

I've heard combat with the klixen is most difficult. They happen to be very hands on when it comes to getting the "job" done.
