I played this mp religiously for 6 months and gor burned out and moved on to other games and after a full year away I have to say it is great to be playing this game again! I forgot how fun it can be and how addicting. That really says something about the quality of the gameplay and camaraderie of this game's mp.  I still get pissed at the RNG but man it doesn't turn me off like it use to. Mostly due to the fact that this has to be the absolute best community in mp hands down. Anyone else out there recently made the trip back and gotten hooked all over again?

I played this game since demo for 5-6 months but finally burned out from it so I dropped it. I only popped it in again because with the new systems/games coming out this holiday season I'm doing some serious saving so I can buy all the crap I reserved (XBone, PS4, BF4, Watch Dogs, etc.) so no more new games for me hence me playing old games again.

And it feels good trying to earn all the new weapons/equip/characters again though I have to say the RNG store still trolls me...

I jumped back online today after not playing for a couple months. I'm surprised how many people are still new to the game (met at least 6-10 players with an N7 rating below 50) but totally welcome since I was playing Silver. Anyways, getting to mess around with the different classes was fun, and I don't know why I stopped playing! Plus, I had some extra credits left over from when I last played and spent them on 4 or 5 PSP's, two of which had UR's. So I guessed that helped ease me back in to it.

Came back about a week or so ago after more than a year out. It's changed a hell of a lot since I was last on. so many new classes, weapons and abilities, not to mention the new challenge system that I've not really taken much notice of as of yet. Quite a lot to get my head around actually.

I know right? Saved up enough credits to buy a handful of the newer pack types and was not surprised at all when I got the bone on all three packs. To be honest though that ****ty RNG and the resultant conversations about how everyone seems to get the "shaft III" upgrade has become part of the charm at this point. I honestly quit playing because of the damn typhoon. Spent hours and hours trying to get that bad boy. Still don't have one but I don't care so much now. Its just fun to play now.

I was actually quite surprised at first because when I first jumped on the 4-5 PSPs I bought had BW I/II and Harrier III/IV so I thought that maybe they raised the drop rates. But alas it was not to be and I haven't had anywhere near the luck with the RNG store since til recently.

Me. I just got back from a little one year break as well. All I actually wanted to do was shoot some Cannibals to reminisce... should have known better.

There was a moment where I got a little stressed out about all the things I'd have to do now (figuring out the new maps / guns / factions, fixing friends list,  fixing manifest) but then I realised I had bigger problems... like relearning how to not get my butt handed to me for example. Also, a lot of things still seem to be just the way they were so I figure I'm just going to grab the old Claymore, start shooting stuff and wait for all the other pieces to fall into place.

Yeah the first match I played against the collectors was an eye opener for sure. Even on bronze they were a challenge the first couple times because they were definitely not the same dudes from ME2. Again though the community is great here for the most part. Played with a dude that had that BOTB banner and he was getting killed a lot and so was the lower ranking guy In the squad and we all worked as a team and revived each other and that really is something you don't see in a lot of games.
