I am hoping that we can get to have a romanace ability for Cassandra :) I really took a shine to her during DA2... She was quite frisky and very attractive at the same time. She pulls no punches either.

So BioWare.... If you're reading this let my mage (possible Blood mage) inquisitor have the option to have romantic relationship with this dominating Seeker of charm :)

The maker wants this relationship to happen ;)

Will it be a passive or active romance ability?

I certainly hope she doesn't become like Aveline. I want her to be complete opposite of her.

We would hope so. She looked better in DA2 than she did in that trailer, that's for sure.

It's cool for those who are interested. I being a straight female, really have no input on this though.

Agreed. They've made her too aveline'ish on the cheekbones. Not particularly appealing if you ask me, well not to my tastes anyway.

Can anyone tell me why they want to make Cassandra a love interest for DA:I? I just don't see the appeal.

Blasphemy! They may have somewhat simular cheekbones, but Cassandra still looks a lot better than Aveline.

Cassandra has a fanbase out there just as much as any other charecter in DA has. If shes going to be partcularly active in DA:I Why not allow the consumer the option to have a romance thing going on? After all DA is a RPG.

Yes, but I'm wondering if there is something more then physical appearance and her dominant personality that attracts people to her.

On the contrary, she's quite beautiful in DoTS and looks tomboyish and flirtable in DAII and completely aveline'd in the DAI E3 trailer. I would prefer if the finished product was somewhere between the DoTS and DAII look.

As you can see the difference is substantial in each image leading up the the current cassandra from DAI. the mustache is an added extra that I recently found in another discussion about Cassandra. She just looks bland and not so feminine... I don't want to idolize her but neither do I feel like I would necessarily get attracted to such a person if they were allowed to be romanced. But that's my opinion at the end of the day, take it for what it is I suppose.

I don't think she would take kindly to kitchen jokes. If you're a mage
and make a kitchen joke to her... Say hello to the Lyrium brand. If
you're a warrior she would just cut your throat... or cut your tongue
off.

While I do not know much about the
characteristic of this woman... What draws me to her is that she is
beautiful and clearly demonstrates just how independent she is. Shes not needy. I see
this character as highly intelligent base on her title of seeker.I guess I'll get to know more of her when DA: I comes out.

She seems like a capable and efficient woman. She's a warrior. She takes no bull**** from anyone and sure as hell won't take any from the Inquisitor.
A strong, independant female is a very attractive romance option.
Plus, it'll be interesting to see how she might act once you are in a relationship with her. Will she soften or keep being the badass we know and love?

She has a lot of potential as a companion and LI.

I'd say appearance and personality are the two big things for attraction, whether we're talking video games or the real world.

I mean... maybe she's rich?

I thought she looked beautiful in DA2.
Creative camera angles for the love making please.

Exactly! And besides if the Inquisitor is a mage and you romanace with her things could get rather heated up during the alone times in the bedroom ;)

For an example:

So could one say she is similar to Aveline? I'm not sure I've seen Bioware give the option of romancing an amazonian beauty before in Dragon Age.

Well for me personally I love her back story and would really enjoy getting through that tough exterior to learn about her beliefs and what life was like as a Nevarran noble turned Seeker is like. She's also got this demeanor that makes me think of her as a partner rather than a companion.

I don't think she's much like Aveline. In the anime, she was passionate, opinionated, arrogant, and aggressive.

I'd say Cassandra is more fire and Aveline is more earth.
