Hi everyone. I have an area in my campaign , where for about one megatile, the faces of the NPCs are either streched, disformed or invisible. When I drag them further, like beyond the border of the anomaly lets say, they get normal. We're talking about an exterior area, which tests fine without any playing bugs whatsoever. What is this? Any ideas?

P.S I have never used custom head models, so I'm talking about the Commoner NPC. The only contents related to creatures I use are monsters, mostly made by storyteller I think. But not in that particular area.

Hmm, no. It's pretty much flat, into a city.

Not sure if link works, first time I use photobucket. If not, let me know I will try something different.
The screenshots is on the border. One NPC with no limbs, and the other normal. Is pretty weird :D.

One other thing that I noticed, on the same tile, is that sometimes an NPC will be merged with another, which doesn't even exist. Lets say I only have one commoner there, he may look like it, but with a dwarf female in his body as well...

Check the area contents to see what creatures are in there and their properties it might give you a clue as to what's happening. Other than that sorry I have no idea what's going on..

Well, so far the area is pretty much incomplete. All there is inside, are some commoners with their perspective scripts for animations or waypoints. These commoners, I just picked them from the blueprints, placed them and made them how I wanted them. I mean, there are no separate blueprints for them... could that be a problem?
Other than that, I guess it's not that big deal, since the tile is a corner, I can make it non walkable, adding some additional placeables to fill it.

The problem is most likely that there is a creature with the null_human appearance somewhere in the area. You need to find that creature (it's invisible and unselectable by normal means because it has the null_human appearance) and change it's appearance. Area contents list is probably your best bet for selecting it. Good luck, I had this happen in a town in Path of Evil and it's a real pain.

I've seen artifacts like in your screenshot from several things. I've seen it when trying to apply a model as an effect, attached to the wrong place, or to the wrong skeleton. I've seen it with the custom swimming skeletons when the characters are wearing cloaks, which are not supported. Just a guess, but there could be an item of clothing on one of those blueprints that's causing some kind of problem. But I don't know why it would only happen in one tile.

Well I guess the good news is that nothing is corrupted somehow.
kamal_ and Tchos you were right. There was an NPC with the appearance of child in the tile, invisible and non selectable. Deleted him and everything is normal. I guess this doesn't work. Other time I wanted a child NPC I added the child blueprint directly, but I guess you cannot change the appearance of a normal human to child. Thanks a lot !
