In Mass Effect I have Wrex and did his family armor quest. However I have been wondering when he gets that signature armor he wears in ME3 and it is also what I see people having on him in Mass Effect and I see it in cutscenes online. But I didn't know if that is the Heavy Mercanary armor or something else he gets. Right now all he wears is Light Mercanary armor. If that is it is that what I need to buy or find? It seemed like what Wrex wears by default in previews and screenshots, so I was curious. I've only completed Noveria and am going to head to Feros.
How Does Wrex Get His Signature Armor In ME1??

If the pic from the link you provided is the "signature armor" for Wrex you're asking for, then it looks similar to his heavy mercenary outfit in ME1, as you can see here. If so, you must have some luck to find a store or container holding it.
Edit: Just noted that Wrex appears in the heavy Mercenary armor in the salarian camp on Virmire even though I've not been able to acquire that particular armor for him yet. Don't know if this is due to him being able to wear heavy armor at the time or if he wears it regardless in that scene.

Edit 2: Later found that heavy Mercenary outfit for Wrex in a container located in the research facility on Virmire. So now I have him wearing it all the time.

Ok thank you, I didn't know what to call it. Like I said he is by default wearing Medium Mercenary and when ever I would see previews or gameplay he was wearing the Heavy Mercenary and he seems to as well in ME3 but I was never sure if he just all the sudden puts it on or Bioware wanted that to be his common armor he was meant to wear but we just had to find it for ourselves and put it on him.
