Before I wrote this story, I was adamantly anti-fanfic.  My female city elf stumbling upon the chancellor mistress ending of the game did me in.  Everything I'd read up to that point implied that the Alistair romance ended after the Landsmeet, unless you were a human noble and made yourself queen.  I wasn't even trying for that ending, and low and behold, the (Persuade) option worked!

My fic is kind of a flip-flop of that conversation.  It happens before the Landsmeet, and the PC tries to break up with Alistair. 

It was originally the first three parts, but then something jumped up and bit me.  It demanded closure.  Harsh closure.

If I had to rate it, it'd be somewhere between T and M.  No smut, but definiatly implied sexual sitautions.

Personally I feel it's a bit (more than a bit) melodramatic, but hey, it's my virgin fic. Can't expect much from that! Though I've gone back and polished some parts a couple weeks back, and that helped a lot I think.
