Teammates only get my Drells killed, by random enemy grenades or screen shakes that mess up my killshots. For objectives like devices I would much prefer to solo a wave and kite enemies instead of having a clusterf*** around the objective, PUGS keep letting Brutes charge the person doing the objective.
You are not a truly elite player in that case. As I said, you worry about others messing up your abilities and making objectives tough. Instead of working with the players and tactics you are given and rising above them you run away, hopefully the pugs all get killed so you can kite and play solo. One major reason why a pug group will fail? The best player in the group runs for the hills. lets them get devasted and then plays hero soloing.
If I say over the mic an objective is too damn hot and we need to kite or get your ass out of the LZ because you're going to die, I have fulfilled my obligation to those that couldn't figure that out on their own.

Scrubs? No I never said that, not sure why you would pull out that very missused term. Calling your team mates lemmings and scrubs is a good start of why you are not a truly elite player in a group game. There are tons of great players, great scorers and guys that can solo many waves and have the game end in partial or full extraction.
The rare great player can still score great, can still have the match end in success but actually is willing to stick their neck on the line, risk failure for the sake of the rest of the team, even if the team are much lesser players.

To spectres, have you ever had a pug switch to a try hard class (piranha GI or Paladin, etc.) AFTER you joined their lobby? And did they rocket spawns on extraction to score **** you?
You have to. Havent played with one yet that doesnt nuke at least 2 spawns or plays a non OP kit. Usually a GI you have to beat down.............

On several occassions. They leave the lobby when they fail.Kalas747 wrote...

A great player doesn't risk the whole team wiping to save those not good enough to save themselves. We are each afforded six medigels and six ops packs in this game and that should be enough for anyone to avoiding blaming any other player outside of themselves for failing to carry their own weight.Beerfish wrote...

Beerfish I'm not sure you can blame the person who was smart enough to get out of a bad situation for the person in a bad situation dying.
Blame them? No. Say that they are a true elite player? Yes I surely can. I've played with some tremendous players who scored huge, stayed in athe group dynamic (even if the rest of the team were chunk heads) and used all of their skills to keep the team mates, alive, invovled and perhaps best of all having them learn from the player.
I've been in groups where there was a an excellent player, scored huge, full extraction but that either ran off to play solo from the start running to spawn points or abandoning the team when things get hairy, bailing out early and then cleaning up[ the level after the others have failed. The truly elite player is the 1st one.

Dude! We need to catch a few games together. I've been pretty burnt out on solos so I haven't been participating in your Challenge lately.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I run around killing things, and always rush to the objectives and revive players. That's great teamwork. If you expect me to hang around the "group", and consider that alone good teamwork, then I don't know what to say.Beerfish wrote...
I just gave it to you already, taking the easy way out and playing as if it is a solo match as soon as things get the least bit hairy. Using a missle to get the team out of trouble instead of bailign out, letting the team die and then soloing the rest of the wave and then talk about carrying.
It's a far greater challenge to not jump into solo mode, stick with a group even if their strategy is faulty and bail a group out that way. The truly great players I've seen can pull this off. A lot of great soloers can't pull this off.
