Asari Valkyrie, my second favorite kit. My first is the Huntress.

Almost no other kit I play can touch what I do with the Valkyrie, and there are a few kits I play a lot more.
She is very durable and can put out a lot of damage.
I run her with the Wraith, Talon, and Hurricane, no lolReegar. 6/6/6/4/4

Drell harrier adept if I'm awake and clear-headed. His spawn nuking is superlative.

Asari claymore Justicar if I'm feeling like a battlemage.

Drell wraith vanguard if I just drank coffee or redbull and have matrix-like twitch responses.

Lately, it's been the human claymore infiltrator - strangely enough. Learning to master sticky grenades with incendiary ammo to set off FEs was quite fun.

GI GPS, hands down that's the one I perform my best with of all the class/weapon combinations.

Depends on what you view as best. If you mean score high and not give anyone a chance on the board whether it be teammates, enemies or etc. Talon Merc. I can eat a sandwich while spamming Cain mines and still top board by 50K in most matches.

Because it can't. Especially with an acolyte.

Sorry, should have said, as OP asks -- GT/flamer/acolyte happens to be the kit that I personally do best with (kill fastest/die least with).  Don't know why, synergy with how I like to game I guess?

AJ -- with a CSMG/Acolyte combo or the Lancer. Warp ammo. Reave for the win.

Back in the day, used to rock the Mattock on her and head shot everything.

But to avoid boredom and burnout, I only play her on rare occasion, play pretty much everything else in a cycle, except maybe the Drell, still have not learned to love those kits.

So rocking my AJ is always a treat.
