The last couple weeks I've received more and more messages post game.  Two stood out that made me laugh and sad.
The first was a guy and his buddy that did pretty bad during a plat game (like 20,000 points).  He messaged after the game and said they just wanted to see how tough it was.  He was really sorry and it made me laugh.  I told him it was fine since we got a full extraction.  He obviously found out how tough it could be.
The second was a Gold game and the message was simply "sorry".  That made me sad because she did good.  I told her so in reply.
What messages have you received that stood out the most?

I don't get messages. I've gotten one or two friend requests, one which I declined (box of shamers with no business in Platinum) but that's all.

I got a 10th prestige lobby invite a few days ago.

I got messages from my pug teammates way back when the MQI came out, I clutched wave 10 of gold, cause everyone died and I was the only one left. I just had to mop up a few enemies, had no consumables left. Had a couple close calls with the phantoms. I got messages from them afterwards. Made me feel good. It was one of the few times that I actually clutched and managed to make it though.

I don't think I've ever received hate mail, actually, which is funny considering I'm on Xbox.

Praising ones, like "God of snipers" or simply "pro" and others like that are more common.
Once I got a really nice message after clutching London/Reapers/Gold waves 9 and 10 with a Volus Sentinel using a Shuriken. That felt great.

Also, some people recognise me from BSN.

I got one from a guy accusing me of MGing when I was playing my Infidrell with a BW.

I've gotten a couple "sorry" messges after some pugs.
it's odd because the ones sending messages were the ones trying the hardest, and I told them as much in a return message.

I was once told that I let my N7 and CP totals "go to my head" and that I should be running Rio Reapers Plat with all the other sensible players of this game...

Haven't had any trash talking as of yet ... though I have sent a couple of apology notes when my brain was mush and I died to really stupid things.

I swear. Those swarmers are out to get me. :|

Edit:  Honestly, despite all of the hate that the Xbox community gets ... I really haven't run into many awful games with people acting like jerks, shooting their mouths off, etc.  Maybe I've just gotten lucky.

I try and send praise messages often if a player really does a good job. Most often giving a player credit if they play a certain class really well.

I get tons of party invites from my youtube subs and thank you messages for my vids. I have to hide offline almost everyday to play with my preffered group

I got "Use a missile."

This was after it took the "pizza" from me while I was running with it and (s/he) died. Prior to this, he was doing a double hack (1-2-3-4 objective) with my friend; Even though my friend was there first. Prior to that, I spent all my missiles shooting Cereberus turrets that keep downing it, because I wanted to save its' medi-gels.

But f*** me, right? I tried to look out for it, and it's gonna rush me llooll.

That's the only semi-negative (because it can be assumed it was trying to be helpful) message I've ever gotten (for ME3, anyway). Everything else is GG's related and I've named my game company around Platinum and Biscuits (don't ask). So, yeah, you guys rock!

I get equal parts fan mail and hate mail. And I love it all. I think my favorite was from a guy I play with sometimes, something along the lines of 'Holy *%\\?#, I've never seen anybody use a krogan vanguard that good before'. And I was all 'huh?', because this was one of my first 5 Gold matches. But it made me feel good! I got hate mail that was basically 'Go play platinum'. I enjoyed that.

The last message I received from a PUG without sending one first myself was from the two friends who kicked me from their Box o' Shame lobby because I had the drell Vanguard pre-selected from when I last played the night before. They proceeded to taunt me for over an hour.

I bet that can get old.  Some days it's nice to be alone or with just a small group.  I'm unknown so I don't have that problem.  Maybe you shouldn't make videos that are so entertaining Yeah, I've watched a few
