I voted for it, though don't plan to play it.simfamSP wrote...

So far nothing's caught my eye in the sale. I considered Tomb Raider but find the game so blah.
Steam has got to stop with this trading card stuff. I'm sick of it, notifications popping up all over the place. Leave me aloooone.

I made probably the worst 2 purchases of my life according to reviews but I had to try the games...Alpha Protocol and Mars War Logs.
Alpha Protocol is actually a pretty good game, I always go back to play it every few months and I always find something new or different. No idea why the reviewers were so harsh on it. I have heard people say it was buggy but I never ran into any bugs in the PC version aside from one minor one that sometimes occured when you reloaded a saved game - item and object interaction icons would not appear which made it harder to spot items of interest... though at the same time that makes the game more challenging since you don't have a big white arrow saying pick this up.

Overlord - 87p (worth a punt)
red orchestra ostfront <£2
Civ 3 - £1.49
Divine Divinity - £1.35
Aliens vs Predator 2000 (vintage, so beware really old graphics, but it's worth playing
Bionic Commando Rearmed
Also, if you're a loon about strategy games, Achron (Starcraft-alike with time travel. Crap graphics, only amazing as multiplayer but... time travel
AI War - play the demo before you try this
(Dungeon Siege 1/2/Overlord 2 are also under £2 if they're your thing)

I'm thinking about buying the Lego LotR. Is it worth the money?
I got bored of it on the Xbox. Same gameplay from any Lego game.

...Be sure not to buy SH 4 or 5, modding community isn't as established and the vanilla game is more unstable in their cases.

What do people think of Deus Ex: HR? It's $2.99 right now. I have $18 left from a gift card I got a while back, but I don't want to buy a game just because it's cheap.
I have always heard the gameplay and story are top notch.
