I'm definitely going to try that Justicar build

It's a little low on the fun side but still practical.  The other setup I have for her doesn't use Biotic Shield at all and leans more towards weapon damage, but I won't add it until later.

Enjoy.  :wizard:

Nice. I have been thinking of doing something like this too as I have at least 4 builds per kit and doing a video on each is just....time consuming. Very cool sharing Moby

I expect to have carpal tunnel by some point next week.  :o

The wall o' text keeps getting bigger... quarians done, and finished off all on-disc characters. Will do more later.

Thanks, hard to add to it when I'm banned.  Guess I'll be more careful for the next while.  :bandit:

I don't agree with most of your builds but this is an incredible effort, thanks.

I'm not asking anybody to agree or particularly like them, doesn't matter to me to be honest.  They're just there if anybody wants to try something new on a character, or have no clue what to do with one.

Thank you for the kind words, you're certainly welcome.

Nice work Mobi... Well thought out... Even though I don't agree with about 80% of them : )

I'm tempted to make one of these.

No arc pistol on asari adept?

Nice work. This would've been really cool when the forum was more active. Probably have lots of real discussions going on here then.

As a player who is just breaking into Gold, could you elaborate a bit please?  I'm definitely going to try some of these builds, but I like Moby's attitude that these are simply the way he plays, not the be all end all of builds.

Thank you very much Moby for the effort.  It is much appreciated!

Actually my friends and I recently started playing again.  I can imagine that there are plenty of others doing the same.  I've seen plenty of new players in Bronze and Silver matches as well.  Obviously most of them won't visit the forums, but this is still a very valuable place to come for advice.

Well just looking at the first two classes, I would never skip Warp or Shockwave on either Human Adept. I would skimp on passives or fitness or a combination of the two. The three powers of Warp, Shockwave and Singularity work so well together... Then there is the next kit, the Asari Adept... No fitness. I personally think all Asari that I play need to have rank 5 Shield Regen Delay evo because it allows them to be more liberal with their dodge (since it drains shields). Both the Human Adept AND the Asari Adept do not benefit hardly at all from additional power damage evolutions or power amplifiers, because the powers themselves do very little damage... So putting the Pistol Power Amplifier and power amps on them is wasteful IMO. The Human would get more mileage out of a heavier weapon and Power Efficiency modules, and the Asari would get more benefit out of Shield Power Cells. A cyclonic modulator makes some sense too...

For instance... Warp does like 300 base damage or something piddly like that. A Power amp IV then becomes only worth 150 damage on a Warp kit. That's a poor use of a level IV piece of gear IMO. Now put the same amp on a kit with Smash, Dark Sphere, Grenades, etc. It becomes far more valuable because those powers do much more base damage.

Granted... This is just an opinion. Mobi is a fantastic player and I would never want to demean him or minimize the coolness of what he has done here... It is quite admirable. I just love talking builds... Bouncing ideas off others... It's how you learn things. I literally could go on and on and on about builds... It's something very interesting to ME.

Thanks!  I appreciate your input, especially because the Human Adept is one of my favorite classes to play(the others being QFE, and the Paladin.  I've been having a difficult time incorporating both Warp and Shockwave on my Human Adept.  I have been using the Wraith on her(or him).  Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Do you have a paladin build yet?

If not, I'd recommend 6/6/6/0/6

Radius, drain, damage reduction for energy drain
Radius, burning damage, freeze combo for incinerate.
Reach, cryo explosion, damage weakness for snap freeze
Skip Passives as detonations will be your main source of damage
Melee damage, shield recharge, fire shield for shield mastery

Ultimate tech detonation character right there.

@Grogimus

Anything that gives you 150%+ cooldown is fine weapon choice really. Wraith is certainly a good option.

Incorporating both Warp and Shockwave is simple, because they both serve different roles. Warp is your long range Primer/Detonator... Either detonating Singularity or priming for Shockwave. Shockwave is your close range, high damage BE detonator, and is also your close range crowd control option... A back-the-F-up-off-me button if you will, useful for staggering advancing mooks.

Another good close quarters option is the Human Adepts heavy melee attack, which hits in a cone spread and sends enemies flying sky high... It also can hit several enemies at once. That's how I have one of my Human Adepts setup, one with no passives for melee and another for traditional biotics with 4 in fitness and 4 in the passives... Or 3 in passives and 5 in fitness... Both are good options IMO.

Isn't it better to use character builders and provide links for the suggested builds?

People tend to just copy builds and ignore playstyle advice when there's class builder links, which can be harmful to their play.

Blah.

Well to explain, I drop a power on both human Adepts so I can top off max weapon damage and that leaves me the option of full Fitness for durability OR melee... I switch back and forth here and there.

And no, I'm a complete non-believer in the "OPTIMUM EVERYTHING" mantra, if something works then it works.  (Grogimus)
