Wouldn't work for my Shepard. He told the Council where to shove it when they offered him Spectre reinstatement.

All it is is a fancy title that doesn't mean anything. I'm going to come into conflict with the Council regardless on the Reapers. There's no point in rejoining them.

Did you tell Bailey that politicians are the weeds of the galaxy? I like his response to that one.

No. As a political scientist, I'm offended by that quote. No my Shepard believes in and loves politics.

He just despises the Council's politics. And the alliance's.

@SNascimento, fun to see your FemShep screens. I always like to see other people's Shepards in action.

@Lawrence0294, nice outfit  =)    and Miranda's LM is quite fun.

Weekend glorious weekend  :wizard:

Image IPB
FemShep helped Zaeed, because that's what you do for your crew. But this was the first time that we caught up with Vido. Jupp, this Shepard is waaay more renegade than what I usually play. She just figuerd that no one working in this plant can be unaware for what organization or who they are working. Plus a little bit of meta-knowledge on my part, had never caught the bastard and I wanted to see it once. So here's a happy Zaeed, hope he got himself a good drink back on the Normandy.

Image IPB
Then it was the rescue of Dr Kenson. Nothing is ever easy is it. It should be a quick think to sneak into a prison and get the good Dr out but in the end you find ourself stuck on a piece of rock heading straight for a mass realy and chatting to reapers.

Image IPB
It did work out, Shepard got of the rock and the good guys won this game. But sometimes a victory doesn't quite feel like one. A sickening feeling knowing so many lost their lives by your actions, and you would do it again. This time I hope Shepard gets a drink.

Image IPB
Shepard skipped the drink and got something much better, time with a friend. Sometimes it is good to remind yourself what you are fighting for, friends and loved ones. Not be a killing-machine or planing new a mission, just spending a little time with a friend.

And with that she is ready for ME3. Whee    :wizard::wizard:  this is going to be so much fun, can't wait! Really look forward to seeing this FemShep tackle the challenges in ME3, and she is a little bit more renegade so I might get to see something new. And she is a engineer, my favorite class in ME3. All of my <3 for turrets and drones, it will be a blast.

Have a good weekend everyone  :)

Been trying to just "meta game" through a playthrough with all of my preferred choices (if I knew about "gibbed" before I would have done this the easy way).

Anyways, it's funny to take the time to read TIM's emails in ME2. Like mission briefs and DLC content emails. TIM seems like such a fanboy of Shepard at this stage.. he's going all out to do everything he can to help.

Took down the Shadowbroker, got Miranda's & Jacob's loyalty, and did some random side quests will exploring various systems for resources. I've only got loyalty missions left for Zaeed, Jack, and Legion before I will be ready to launch the SM with a fully loyal team.

Unfortunately there is this other game coming out today.......ssooooo things might stall out here for a little while......

Don't hate me Mass Effect.......I will be back soon, I promise......:P

I haven't really been able to play ME lately. I guess I could blame it on a busy schedule, but it's mainly because of fried nerves as a result of suffering the end of ME3 so many times. My current Shepard will be my last one for a lllloooooonnnngggg time.

ME1 introdused the universe, and it's vast expanses and showed there were a lot of nearly dead rocks out there.

Looking back at it, one of the best parts of ME2 was that you got to experience other sides of the Mass Effect universe, not just the Reapers. And gave it life by showing us living breathing places.
It really did flesh out a lot of other places.

In ME3 we mostly see things that are in shatters and ruins with a mix of Reaper zombies. Though I guess it's what's to be expected at the end of a story about Reapers and the end of all life.

So, a game that's a mixture of ME1 and ME2 with careful use of ME3 themes in moderation, would make for a good game. Then throw in something extra.

Yay, time for another update   :wizard:

@Lawrence0294  Thane's recruitment is fun and I really like that abandoned collector vessle. "Um guys, how many of these abandoned things can you find really?"

@SNascimento  I really like the djungle-vistas. It is a nice change from rooms and corridors. New colors and such. It's one of the things I really like with Zaeed's LM. Wish we could have had Mording with us for a longer time in ME3, but *sniffle* someone else could have gotten it wrong. And Vasir, the don't judge me part always make me feel a little bad. Especially if you did Arrival prior to LotSB.

@ StreetMagic  I know, really thinking about starting to use "gibbed" saves as well. Just want to get a special version of FemShep in ME3 but I don't feel like playing through entire ME and ME2 yet again. No time. This is one of the reasons why I really look forward to using the Keep in DA:I. I also read all the things in the game, they make the universe feel more whole and can sometimes add just a little extra sidestory. Like the little thing below which was one of the first things you could read on the spectre-newsfeed. Like little touches like that.
Image IPB

Really enjoy reading about what other people are doing in the series  :wizard:
For me it is a way of sharing the fun so if anyone feels like adding your story don't hesitate. Pictures are not required, just your Shepard and his or her journey. I read all the post and like to hear what people are up to. And with that I get over to my own little story.

  x-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------x

Image IPB
FemShep is finally out and about in ME3. Here we are on Mars snarking at the Illusive Man trying to get out hands on some prothean info. Really like this story-segment, the little datapads on the ground are fun to read and I like all those little details.

Image IPB
And it is just a very cool looking room, here's a better pic from another Shepard of mine.

Image IPB
How did it go on Mars? Well, wouldn't call it a roaring success really. Kaidan is pretty beat up and the info is stuck in a fried metal-babe. Suddenly those arguments down on Mars with Kaidan feel quite petty, it doesn't matter as much now. It was pretty great just to see him again. But there's a galaxy to save, no pressure, so no time to waste on broken hearts. Time to go to the Citadel, hospital for Kaidan and those really nice people on the Council for Shepard.

Image IPB
Jupp, the Council was super-impressed by Shepard's idea. It would be nice if they could scrape together some plan for going forward. Oh wait, there was a plan. Hope that the reapers stay on Earth for as long as possible and that you yourself would not be the next victim of the intergalactic bullies.

Image IPB
It's enough to give anyone nightmares. First stuck in a base for 6 months doing squat and then frantic scrambling trying to get everything in gear.

Image IPB
It makes you appriciate your friends being there for you even more, doesn't it. Having a few old friends around makes all the difference.

Image IPB
Next up Palaven. There might be a way to get around the Council and get support anyways.

Image IPB
Got the Primarch and something even better, an old friend. With Garrus by Shepard's side life just feels so much better.

For me, landing on Palaven and seeing the reapers in the distance was my first big "woah" moment in ME3.  Always loved that mission - even more so thanks to it reintroducing Garrus.

GTAV is a blast so far, but checking in on this thread is making me want to jump back in with my femshep in ME2, at least before too much time passes.  Feel like I need to at least get her to the start of ME3 before my extended trip to San Andreas takes hold.

You know, dialogue in the trilogy for me has always being good. Some are better and some are worse, but overall I enjoy talking in the games. But there are some moments when Shepard say just what you want, and then all you can do is put a big smile on your face and enjoy. This is one of those moments, Shepard speech to the admirals (paragon) is perfect. Especially the part when Shepard says that Tali pretty much singlehanded makes the quarian look good. This is a very cool mission.

In the technical part, the leap between ME1 and ME2 was enormous. The graphics and the performance are the most obvious, but the animations and the cutscenes are also worth mentioning. Just see Shepard punching the reporter in ME1 and ME2.

boarded omega with aria and carved a bloody path through the station, messing with arias head the whole way, then made sure to draw out the final battle vs Oleg's adjutants as long as possible, and once that was all over had a merry visit to an asari monastery before wrapping up the day by recovering war assets and listening to that sweet galaxy map tune.

In my opinion,he's an overall pretty cool character, plus he's funny as hell in Citadel DLC.

Not to mention he's free to download.
