How many missions can you take Legion on without losing anyone from your crew?

It's dependent on how many loyalty missions you have yet to complete. I think you're given a grace period of two to three before the abduction occurs, at which point you need to hit the suicide mission immediately to save the crew. After that, you can take him on as many as you want.

If you haven't completed his loyalty mission before finishing the suicide mission, IIRC, I've been told you get some interesting dialogue with Legion. Unfortunately, it's only accessible if you lose the crew. The Geth already knew what was being done to the kidnapped colonists - they had deduced what the Reapers are.

Hmmmm... I wonder how one... experiences that...

Over the weekend I brokered peace between the Quarians and the Geth, watched Thessia fall, took down Sanctuary, and tracked down Leviathan.  Also spent some time just randomly scanning systems for more resources/assets (something I didn't really do on previous trilogy runs) - talk about an easy way to boost your EMS.  The only stuff I have left to do before assaulting Cerberus and starting the final act would be completing the Citadel & Omega DLCs.  Looking forward to Citadel (possibly my favorite ME experience); I'll complete Omega more for the completionist aspect than actual enjoyment of the content.

The finish line is in sight - when I am done this will be my third consecutive extended ME run (with one small 2-week break for GTA V in there).  First two were complete trilogy runs, this last one I went back to ME2 and am currently "refining" my canon shep.  I even had an incomplete mini-run with a renegade femshep through ME2 and part of ME3 in there, as well.  I normally don't have that much gaming time in a given week (relatively speaking), so this dive into the MEU has been going on since summer.

Not really sure what I will be doing after I knock this one out, which will probably happen this coming weekend.  My heart wants to go back to ME1 and start yet another run.  My brain is arguing that I am getting close to burning out on the MEU as it is, and that I should step away for a bit (absence makes the heart grow fonder - yada, yada, yada....).  I am on console, and don't plan on going next gen till mid-2014 at the absolute earliest, so there aren't many other games on my radar - maybe AC4?  I have heard it is much better than the dull, hand-holding AC3.  I haven't touched Skyrim in a couple years, and that could definately occupy my gaming time for a while.

Eh, who am I kidding.......I hear Eden Prime is lovely this time of year.  They might have a little Geth problem, though......

Decided to take EDI to Eden Prime to investigate Cerberus activity. I'd never done that before. EDI brought up Jenkins death, then later explained the difference between a "joke" and "messing with someone" to Liara.

Got started on the Citadel DLC last night.  It was interesting to see how the experience changed based on differing past choices.  Both times I have played Citadel previously, my initial squadmate contact after the "fishtank incident" was Liara.  This time, it was Tali.  I didn't realize this part could be affected by who my current LI is, but it in retrospect it makes sense.

I always thought that initial interaction was weird between Liara and my first shep, whose ME1 LI was Ash and ME2 LI was Jack.  All I could think at the time was "Why is Liara hitting on me? This shep has never shown an interest in her."  Makes sense when you realize that part was written to be an interaction bewteen shep and his/her LI.  Is this part of the DLC only written to where current crew members can be the initial contact?

I finished out the mini-campaign portion of Citadel by throwing my clone off the Normandy, and then got started on the buddy missions.  I know it is over-the-top cheesy and doesn't fit the tone of ME3 in any way, shape, or form, but this DLC really is just about as enjoyable as gaming gets - to me, at least.

Finally got my current Shepard off of Lazarus Station and met TIM, thanks to my new vidcard.

My backup PC only had an x1300; 8 FPS ain't exactly playable.

Curious: do you walk into bars and ask if people are still drinking all the time?

That's different, this entire forum isn't just for Mass Effect, y'know there are other games made by BioWare, y'know better ones like Dragon Age & KOTOR.

Yes, and my comment was expressing surprise at this thread even existing...

Nah, he probably never stepped into a bar.

Yeah you're right, I'm probably nowhere near as cool as you are...

Ah, you say one thing, and the hordes of Bio-Drones attack

To be fair, if you ask a stupid question, you should not be surprised when you get a sarcastic and or an equally asinine answer. This is BSN after all.

While true, you specifically entered the Mass Effect 3 Story and Campaign Discussion forum, fella.

But please, don't let me stand in the way of making yourself look ... well, the way you do now, especially with your scintillating "drones" and "butthurt" comments. You're doing all the heavy lifting for me!

So to you, responding sarcastically to butthurt drones makes me butthurt? I don't get it :S
